Cleaning and maintenance
The wood panel should be surface treated on delivery (e.g. with oil or varnish) to protect against dirt, sunlight and wear. It’s quick to do and significantly extends the lifespan of the panel.
Cleaning is simple with a cloth and warm water. Please note that soap-based cleaning agents gradually remove the oil from the wood and dry out the panel. That’s why it’s a good idea to maintain the solid bamboo panel regularly with oil if the surface is used and cleaned frequently.
Solid wood can be sanded and refreshed again and again. Small dents or scratches? No problem – a light sanding and some oil, and the panel looks as good as new.
