Carbonised bamboo is a hard and durable material with high density and great dimensional stability. It consists of compressed bamboo strips that are heat-treated to achieve a deeper caramel-brown tone with warm shades.
The structure retains the same straight lines as natural bamboo, but with a richer colour variation that gives a darker overall impression. Over time, the tone becomes deeper and more uniform.

Cleaning and maintenance
The panel should be surface-treated upon delivery (for example, with oil or varnish) to protect it from dirt, sunlight and wear. It’s quick to do and significantly extends the panel’s lifespan.
Cleaning is easy with a cloth and warm water. Note that soap-based cleaners gradually remove the oil from the wood, causing it to dry out. Therefore, it’s a good idea to maintain the solid bamboo panel regularly with oil, especially if the surface is frequently used and cleaned.
Solid wood can be sanded and refreshed time and time again. Small scratches or marks? No problem – a light sanding and a bit of oil, and the panel looks as good as new.
