Deep Black Quartz Corian window sill 12 mm

Elegant and luxurious Corian® window frame in the colour Deep Black Quartz.

The window sill is cut to size with any cut-outs at each end to fit your window exactly.

Corian® is a uniform composite material which consists of 1/3 acrylic and 2/3 natural minerals. In addition, pigment is added in the desired shade.

Corian® is often used in design and architecture as the material is extremely durable and resistant to wear and stains, it is easy to shape and adapt, it is lightfast, meaning it retains its colour when exposed to all types of light, and so it is super easy to maintain and clean. Finally, Corian® has a velvety surface and an exclusive, luxurious appearance.

A Corian® window sill is a great choice for all window areas, as Corian® has a completely sealed and therefore highly hygienic surface that ensures that no liquids, odours or dyes can penetrate the material. Neither bacteria nor mould can grow on a Corian® window sill. Corian® is thus also suitable for, for example, children's rooms, bathrooms and other places with high demands on hygiene.

About the colour:
Deep Black Quartz has an intense black base colour that is densely sprinkled with fine, ivory-white sparkles.

Thickness: 12 mm

Installation: The attachment of the bottom piece can be done with silicone, which can be bought in any hardware store.

Optionally, we can cut a 10 x 10 mm tongue (tenon) in the rear edge of the window base to fit into the groove if you have one on your window. 10 x 10 mm is a standard size that fits the vast majority of windows, but if you have other measurements, please contact us.
Remember to include the tongue (tenon) in the overall width of the base.

We recommend making each cut approx. 2mm larger to make sure the bottom piece fits. The gap can then be grouted.

NB: The cutouts have an internal radius of 6 mm due to the milling tool.
