The panels are constructed as glued laminated boards with finger-jointed staves. Each stave has a fixed width of 42 mm, and you’ll receive a piece of fine craftsmanship in sapele mahogany – known for its deep colour, elegant grain pattern and impressive durability.

Sapele is a medium-hard and stable wood species with good strength and durability. It has a warm, deep reddish-brown colour and a distinctive elegant grain structure with natural variation, which can appear slightly striped or wavy depending on the cut. Over time, the colour darkens and becomes more uniform. Sapele is ideal for furniture and interior design where a darker wood with depth and character is desired.

Cleaning and maintenance
The wood panel should be surface treated upon delivery (e.g. with oil or varnish) to protect it from dirt, sunlight and wear. It’s quick to do and significantly extends the panel’s lifespan.
Cleaning is simple with a cloth and warm water. Be aware that soap-based cleaners gradually remove the oil from the wood and dry out the panel. Therefore, it’s a good idea to maintain the solid wood panel regularly with oil if the surface is frequently used and cleaned.
Solid wood can be sanded and refreshed again and again. Small dents and scratches? No problem – a light sanding and some oil, and the panel will look as good as new.
