Veneered Carcass Panel in European Oak

Veneered carcass panels in European oak – cut to your measurements and ready to use.

At HM-wood-shop.co.uk, you'll find veneered carcass panels in European oak, delivered fully ready for installation. The panel is made from chipboard covered with oak veneer and comes with a 1 mm veneer edge on one long side – allowing you to start your project right away, without additional preparation.
We always cut your panels to your exact dimensions, so you receive a fully tailored solution that fits your project perfectly – whether it’s furniture, joinery, or built-in storage.

What are carcass panels used for?

Carcass panels are typically used for making cabinets, kitchen units, drawers, wardrobes, shelving systems and custom interior joinery. The combination of low weight, attractive appearance and stability makes veneered carcass panels ideal for both professional and DIY projects where you want a high-end real wood finish – without the cost and weight of solid wood.
Træbutikken’s veneered carcass panels serve the same function as other furniture or interior panels but offer a more exclusive look thanks to genuine oak veneer.

Ready for production – save time on your build

These factory-prepared panels save time, as both veneer and edge banding are pre-applied and each board is delivered to your custom dimensions. This improves workflow efficiency, reduces waste and ensures a consistent result – whether you're building new units or upgrading existing furniture.

Quality and specifications

The panel is European Oak A/A grade, bookmatched and plain-sliced.
Plain-sliced veneer is cut parallel to the log’s cross-section, producing a vibrant and varied grain pattern. Natural variations in figure – from strong cathedral grain to more uniform sections – are inherent to genuine wood veneer.

Thickness: 16 mm and 19 mm. Select from the menu on the right.

Important information about veneer

Veneer is a natural material, which means variations in colour tone, texture and grain are expected from one panel to another. Even within a single board, natural differences in colour and pattern may occur – this is a characteristic feature of real wood and part of its unique appeal.
