Formica Laminate - Light Oak

Formica wood grain laminate sheet cut to your measurements - Perfect for handymen and DIY people.

Formica invented laminate back in 1913 and today offers material of the highest quality - it's multifunctional, practical, and durable.

Formica laminate is also available in a variety of colours, patterns, and surfaces.

On this page we have a selection of classic and on trend laminates with the Matte58 surface, Formica's most popular surface, which gives the laminate a subtle texture and a slightly glossy appearance.

Please contact us if there is a colour you can't find or if you want to find out more about other surfaces.

Natural and timeless

Resistant to stains

Durable

Hygienic

Formica laminate with wood texture is suitable for application on surfaces like tabletops or similar wooden worktops.

This lovely laminate creates a natural and timeless element in your home. It is furthermore extremely durable and resistant to stains.

The laminate sheet is glued on to a wooden board or something similar and may be applied both vertically and horizontally.

The laminate sheet is easy to saw and mill. It is recommended to use regular wood cutting tools, for instance a circular saw.

Laminate sheets are easy to clean and maintain. Simply use a damp cloth and a regular, neutral cleaner.

How to apply laminate

When applying your laminate sheet onto for instance a wooden board, we recommend that you use the adhesive/glue called DanAtac Aqua Contact which is very easy to work with.

Apply the glue on the laminate sheet using a paint brush or something similar and then leave the sheet to dry for 30 minutes to an hour.

Place the sheet carefully onto the wooden board - make sure you place it very accurately, since it will not be possible to readjust the laminate sheet afterwards.

Then use a rubber roller or a veneer hammer to press the two surfaces together in order to secure full contact between the two surfaces.

Afterwards, give the adhesive time to dry completely. The adhesive cures almost immediately but obtains its full strength after a couple of days.
